Radiant Super Specialty Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre, Amravati, successfully organised a Free Special Guidance & Neurological Check-up Camp in loving memory of Late Dr B.C. Lod Sir at Ner Parsopant. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the community, with more than 250+ patients and family members visiting for expert neurological consultation, awareness, and medical guidance.
The program was conducted under the expert guidance of a renowned neurologist along with a neurosurgeon. The camp aimed not only to provide treatment but also to spread awareness regarding neurological disorders that are increasingly affecting people across all age groups.
Patients attended the camp with concerns related to paralysis, stroke, migraine, epilepsy, vertigo, Parkinson’s disease, memory loss, spine disorders, trauma-related neurological issues, and various brain and nerve-related conditions. Many attendees were able to receive proper guidance regarding early symptoms, diagnosis, preventive care, rehabilitation, and treatment planning.
One of the major highlights of the camp was the public awareness session on the FAST Stroke Awareness Principle. People were educated about recognising early warning signs of stroke and the importance of immediate medical attention. The doctors explained how timely diagnosis and emergency treatment can significantly reduce the risk of permanent disability caused by stroke.
The camp also focused on the growing importance of brain health awareness in today’s stressful and fast-paced lifestyle. Patients and families were guided about maintaining healthy daily habits, regular medication adherence, physical activity, stress management, and the importance of not ignoring symptoms such as persistent headaches, dizziness, numbness, weakness, imbalance, seizures, or memory disturbances.
The compassionate interaction between doctors and patients created a strong sense of trust and reassurance among attendees. Several needy patients also received medical support and guidance during the camp. The event became a meaningful bridge between advanced neurological healthcare and rural community awareness.
